PRIVACY

Your details, explained.

Updated October 29, 2026. Baker Computer is operated by 3B Unlimited, LLC d/b/a Baker Computer, 46 Marvin Ave, Shelby, OH 44875. This notice covers our website, individual website offers, checkout, client account, and business conversations.

Inquiries and business conversations

Our inquiry form collects your email address, topic, and message, plus your name and business if provided. We save the inquiry to review and respond, and may send a notification to our sales inbox. A submission receipt confirms that we saved it; it does not promise a response time or sign you up for a mailing list.

When researching a business, we may record its publicly listed business contact details and their source. If we contact you or you reply, we keep the relevant messages, delivery status, and conversation history to prepare an offer and handle the relationship. Our email system imports relevant replies into our private dashboard. Delivery acceptance does not prove inbox placement or that you read a message.

Checkout and client accounts

Checkout collects your name, business name, email address, business address, and billing address. We keep your selected package, agreed pricing and consent record, project details, account messages, and payment and subscription references to provide the service, handle billing, and maintain business records. Client access uses a private email link and a temporary sign-in cookie.

PayPal handles payment details through its checkout. Our billing service does not receive or store your full card number or security code. It receives payment and subscription references, amounts, dates, and status information from PayPal. PayPal also processes information under its own privacy statement.

Preview links and preferences

An individual website-preview link may record that the link was requested and associate that activity with the business offer. The identifier is random, rather than your email address. Automated security scanners and people with a forwarded link can also request it, so this does not identify a verified visitor or prove that someone read the email. We do not use email-open tracking pixels.

We use self-hosted Umami analytics to understand whether website previews load, whether Buy is selected, and where checkout needs improvement. Random activity identifiers can connect these observations to an offer and the email containing it. Our private dashboard can show this activity alongside the business relationship. Browser observations do not prove identity or payment; verified payment records are kept separately.

Our analytics adapter removes offer and sign-in tokens, email addresses, form contents, card details, URL query strings and referrers before sending events to Umami. We do not record checkout sessions or keystrokes. Optional activity tracking respects Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals. You can also turn it off in this browser below; that preference is saved in local browser storage and a preference cookie. Necessary payment, delivery, security and opt-out records still operate.

Interest and opt-out choices are recorded when you confirm them. Opening the confirmation page alone does not make that choice. You can use the opt-out link in an outreach email or ask us at sales@baker.computer to stop marketing messages. Necessary service and billing messages are separate.

Cookies, security, and service providers

We use cookies for checkout and account sessions, and the showcase may save your display preference in your browser. Our services use temporary hashed network identifiers to limit repeated requests. Standard web-server logs may include IP addresses and request information used to operate and protect the site. We do not use advertising trackers on our own pages; PayPal controls the cookies and other processing within its payment tools.

Our hosting provider, Vultr, stores the website and its private service records. We use our Mailcow email system and ImprovMX delivery relay to handle business email, and PayPal for payments. These services process the information needed for their role. Authorized Baker personnel use the records to provide support and administer projects. We do not sell personal information or provide it to advertisers. We may also disclose information when legally required or needed to address fraud, protect rights, or resolve a dispute.

How long we keep information

Website inquiry-form records are removed from the inquiry database after 90 days; inquiry rate-limit records after 24 hours. Raw preview and checkout analytics are retained for up to 90 days, and their rate-limit records for up to two days. Expired analytics are removed by scheduled maintenance; protected backup copies can persist for up to seven additional days. Email copies, project conversations, account and billing records are separate: they are kept as needed for the relationship, accounting, legal obligations, and disputes. They are not covered by the analytics deletion schedule. Minimal opt-out records are retained to respect your preference. Third-party payment and email records follow their providers' retention rules.
